Signing in
Graftport uses email + password authentication. Open the app, enter the email you were invited on, and set a password on first sign-in.
If you haven’t been invited yet, ask an Owner or Admin on the workspace to add you. Some workspaces also allow anyone with an email address at a verified company domain to join automatically — if yours does, signing up with your work address is enough.
Creating a workspace
Anyone can create a workspace from the sign-up screen — give it a name and you’re in. As you type your email we check whether your company already has a workspace on Graftport; if it does, you can send its admins a request to join instead of standing up a second one.
Workspaces
Your account belongs to a workspace — the org that owns a set of migrations. A workspace owns:
- Its migrations and their mappings, runs, and credentials.
- Its mapping template forks.
- Its billing relationship.
You can never see another workspace’s migrations or data. Mapping templates marked global are shared as read-only seeds — if you fork one, the fork lives inside your workspace.
If you belong to more than one, the switcher at the top of the sidebar moves you between them. Everything on screen — migrations, runs, data, settings — belongs to the workspace you currently have selected.
The arrow at the bottom of the sidebar collapses it to a strip of icons when you want the room, and brings it back the same way. Your choice is remembered on that browser.
Roles
Every member has one of three roles, managed under Settings → Team:

| Owner | Everything, including managing other Owners. |
| Admin | Invite teammates, change roles, remove members, and control who joins automatically. |
| Member | Everything to do with migrations, mappings and runs — but not the team or access settings. |
There is no per-migration access control: every member of a workspace can see and run every migration in it. The roles govern the workspace itself, not what’s inside it.
Keeping up with what changed
Two places, both covered on Workspace settings:
- The bell in the top bar — a live feed of what’s happening in the workspace right now.
- Settings → Audit trail — the full searchable history, exportable as CSV.
Switching merchants
There’s no merchant switcher — each merchant is its own migration inside your workspace. Use the Migrations screen as your home page, and its Board view to see where every merchant’s move has got to.
